bandwidth-reservation-priority

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Configure the reservation priority and setup priority for delegated SR-TE LSPs.

These values control how bandwidth reservations are handled and how LSPs are preempted when network resources are constrained. Both values must be configured together.

  • Reservation priority determines how likely an LSP is to hold onto resources during preemption.

  • Setup priority determines how likely an LSP is to preempt lower-priority LSPs to acquire resources.

The configured values are reported by the PCC in PCRpt messages to the PCE when the LSP is delegated. If no values are configured, both priorities default to 0 when reported.

Configure an integer priority (0 through 7) on the compute profile. The PCC reports this priority value in PCRpt messages to the PCE for delegated SR-TE LSPs. If the PCE supplies a priority value in PCInit/PCUpd, the received value is reported while the LSP remains externally controlled.

Options
