Description
Configure the interface address.
Options
ip-address—IPv4
address of the interface.
ipv6-address—IPv6 address
of the interface. When configuring an IPv6 address on a dynamically
created interface, use the $junos-ipv6–address dynamic variable.
Required Privilege Level
interface—To view this statement in the configuration.
interface-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
Release Information
Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.2.
Support at the [edit dynamic-profiles profile-name interfaces pp0 unit “$junos-interface-unit” family family] hierarchy level introduced in Junos OS Release
10.1.
Support at the [edit interfaces interface-name unit logical-unit-number family inet] hierarchy level introduced in Junos OS Release 13.2X50-D10
for EX Series switches.
