test services monitoring y1564
Syntax
test services monitoring y1564 test-name(start | stop) <routing-instance instance-name>
Description
Start or stop an ITU-T Y.1564 test on the device configured as an initiator for these
tests. When you trigger a Y.1564 test, it passes through a series of states. These states
are displayed in the Test state field of the show services monitoring y1564
command.
The Y.1564 test is stopped at the initiator automatically after the test successfully
completes all of the test steps. You need not explicitly enter the test services
monitoring y1564 test-name stop command. However, at the
reflector, you must explicitly enter this command to stop the test after the test is
completed at the
initiator. Issuing a
stop command during a running Y.1564 test abruptly terminates the test. Use the
show services monitoring y1564 command to check if the test is complete
before stopping either the initiator or the reflector. If you are using an RFC 2544
reflector, you must use the test services monitoring rfc2544
test-name stop command to stop the test at the
reflector.
