Digital Optical Monitoring

The Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real‑time monitoring and threshold‑based alerts for optical parameters.

The Digital Optical Monitoring software continuously monitors real‑time optical parameters, including input and output optical power, temperature, laser bias current, and transceiver supply voltage. These parameters are checked against configured threshold values, and warning messages are logged if any parameter crosses its threshold.

You can view the real‑time values of the monitored optical parameters using the following CLI command:

show interfaces diagnostics optics <interface-name>
