Chassis-Level Features Overview
The Junos Software enables you to configure several properties
of the router and many PIC-level features at the [edit chassis]
hierarchy level. Some of the features are specific to M Series,
MX Series, J Series, or T Series routers, while some others are common
across all routers.
Statements at the [edit chassis redundancy]
hierarchy level are described in the JUNOS High Availability Configuration Guide.
The configuration statements at the [edit chassis lcc]
hierarchy level apply only to a routing
matrix based on a TX Matrix router or a TX Matrix Plus router. For
information about a routing matrix composed of a TX Matrix router
and T640 routers, see TX Matrix Router
and T640 Router Configuration Overview and the TX Matrix Router Hardware Guide. For information about
a routing matrix composed of a TX Matrix Plus router and T1600 or
T4000 routers, see TX Matrix Plus Router
Configuration Overview and the TX Matrix Plus
Router Hardware Guide.
The sanity-poll
configuration statements at
the [edit chassis fpc slot-number]
hierarchy level apply only to T Series routers. You can also configure sanity-poll
for routing matrix based on a TX Matrix router
or TX Matrix Plus router at the hierarchy level [edit chassis
lcc number fpc number]
.
