Edit and Delete Access Control Policy Skeleton

Use this topic to edit or delete an access control policy skeleton.

Edit an Access Control Policy Skeleton

You must be a superuser to edit an access control policy skeleton. Default skeletons shipped with Routing Director cannot be edited. A skeleton is default if it has the Is Protected value set to Yes.

To edit an access control policy skeleton:

  1. Click Settings Menu > Control Profiles on the banner.

    The Access Control Profiles page appears.

  2. On the Policy Skeletons tab, click the skeleton that you want to edit.

    The Edit Policy Skeleton page appears.

  3. Edit the policy skeleton definition by referring to Access Control Policies and Skeletons Overview.
  4. Click OK.

    You are returned to the Access Control Profiles page, where you can verify the changes in the Access Control Profiles table.

Delete an Access Control Policy Skeleton

You must be a superuser to delete an access control policy skeleton. A default policy skeleton cannot be deleted.

To delete an access control policy skeleton:

  1. Click Settings Menu > Control Profiles on the banner.

    The Access Control Profiles page appears.

  2. Click the policy skeleton that you want to delete.

    A confirmation message appears.

  3. Click Yes.

    The policy skeleton is deleted, and the policy skeleton is no longer listed under the Policy Skeletons tab.
