Add a Dynamic Topology Setting

Routing Director captures real-time changes in your network only after you configure dynamic topology. The topology-related data must be up to date if you want to filter out unwanted nodes in your network. You can create a dynamic topology setting by using the Routing Director UI.

To configure dynamic topology setting:

  1. Click Management > Dynamic Topology > Peer Setting.
    The Peer Setting page appears.
  2. Click the Add (+) icon.
The Dynamic Topology Setting pop-up appears.
    Note:

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

  3. Complete the configuration according to the guidelines in Table 1.
  4. Click Save.

The Peer Setting page appears displaying the newly added dynamic topology setting. A message is displayed confirming that the dynamic topology setting is saved successfully.
