Add an SRLG (Planner)

On the SRLGs (Shared Risk Link Groups) tab, add an SRLG in your offline network.
To add an SRLG:
  1. Navigate to Planning > Networks > Offline Models > Model-Name > Open.

    The Topology page is displayed with the topology map at the center and the network information table at the bottom of the page.

  2. Navigate to the SRLGs tab.
  3. Click the add icon (+).
    The Add SRLG page appears.
  4. Complete the configuration according to the guidelines in Table 1.
    Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  5. Click Submit.
    A confirmation message appears stating that the create SRLG request is sent. You are returned to the SRLGs tab where you can view the newly added SRLG.

    Field Description

    Name*

    Specify a name for the SRLG.

    Nodes

    Select one or more nodes in the left column and click the right arrow to add them to the right (selected) column. To deselect nodes from the selected column, select the nodes and click the left arrow. You can also search for a specific node from the Search here field.

    Use only selected nodes in the Map

    When enabled, only those nodes that are currently selected on the topology map are displayed in the Nodes field.

    When disabled, all nodes in the offline network are displayed in the Nodes field.

    Links

    Select one or more links in the left column and click the right column to move them to the right (selected) column. To deselect links from the selected column, select the links and click the left arrow. You can also search for a specific link from the Search here field.

    Use only selected links in the Map

    When enabled, only those links that are currently selected on the topology map are displayed in the Links field.

    When disabled, all links in the offline network are displayed in the Links field.
