Syntax

Description

Configure NTP on the cluster nodes.

Configuring the NTP is mandatory during installation of the Routing Director cluster. If you use these commands to reconfigure the NTP server after the cluster is deployed, you must also run the following commands to redeploy the NTP cluster component:

  1. Reconfigure the NTP server after cluster deployment.

    set deployment cluster ntp ntp-servers (server_name|[set_of_ntp_servers])
  2. Commit the NTP updates and exit Deployment Shell.

    commit and-quit
  3. Regenerate the config depoyment file.

    request deployment config
  4. Redeploy the NTP cluster component.

    request deployment deploy cluster input "-t ntp"

Options

ntp-servers server_name

Set the NTP server to sync to.

ntp-servers [set_of_ntp_servers]

Set multiple servers to sync to.
