Table 1: Fields on the Rules Tab
Field Description

Rule Name

Name of the rule.

Rule Instances

A rule can either be a system rule or a custom rule. System rules are the default rules present in Routing Director. Custom rules are manually created or uploaded.

A topic helps to group similar custom rules logically so the related KPIs appear under the corresponding accordion in the data results view in the Device-Details page (Observability > Health > Troubleshoot Devices).

Enable Recommendations

If the value is Yes, ORE considers the rule for recommendation. If is value is No, ORE does not consider the rule for recommendation.

Note:
  • For system rules, the default value is Yes.

  • For custom rules, the default value is No.

Auto Mode

The value decides if the rule should be instantiated automatically by ORE or not.

Note:
  • For system rules, the default value is Yes.

  • For custom rules, the default value is No.

Tag

Names of all the tags associated with the rule.

A tag is a label (unique key/value pair) that you assign to a rule. You can use these labels to filter rules.

Hover over + number to view the names of the other tags added but are not displayed by default.

Description

Brief description of the rule, if any.
