Table 1: Fields on the Create Port Profiles Page
Field Description

Plan Name

Select a network implementation plan you want the port profile to be associated with. This field is hidden when you open the Create Port Profile page from the network implementation plan.

For example: plan-for-pe.

Name

Enter a name for the port profile. A port profile is used to define the MTU and tagging type for aggregated Ethernet interfaces.

A port profile name can contain alphanumeric characters, space, hyphen (-), and underscore (_).

For example: pe-aggregated-interfaces.

MTU

Enter the maximum transmission unit (MTU) of an aggregated Ethernet interface, in bytes. MTU range depends on the device. Refer to the device documentation for exact range.

Range: 128 through 65,535

For example: 1514 bytes.

Tagging

Select a tagging option for an aggregated Ethernet interface:

  • Tagged—You can assign VLAN tags to the interface.

  • Untagged—You cannot assign VLAN tags to the interface.
