Create a Benchmark Document

You can create a benchmark document using the default or existing benchmarks documents. Select the rules of the custom benchmark document depending on your network requirements. Benchmarks documents are used to run a compliance scan to assess the compliance status of your network targets or devices. For more information, see About the Compliance Benchmarks Page.

To create a benchmark document:

  1. Click Trust > Compliance > Benchmarks.

    The Compliance Benchmarks page appears.

  2. Select a benchmark document and click More > Create Benchmark.

The Rules page appears and displays all the rules in the selected benchmark document.

  3. Clear the check boxes corresponding to the rules that you do not want to select for the custom benchmark document. By default, all rules are selected.

  4. Click Create Benchmark.

The Create Benchmark Document page appears.

  5. Enter the values by referring to the Table 1.

  6. Click Save.

A confirmation message appears stating that the benchmark document is successfully created. The benchmark document is listed on the Compliance Benchmarks page.

Alternatively, you can click Cancel to discard your changes.
