About the Devices Tab (Route Explorer)

To access this tab, click Observability > Routing > Route Explorer > Devices.

Use this tab to view details of all BGP speakers in the network. You can view this information when either BGP routing information base (RIB) or BGP State monitoring has been enabled when you create a device profile. For more information, see Add a Device Profile. You can also view active routes, route distinguisher count, and statistics related to RIB and BMP monitoring.

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this tab:

  • View details of all BGP speakers for which BGP state or RIB monitoring is enabled.

  • Click Download to download all device routing information as a CSV file.

  • Sort, resize, or re-arrange columns in a table (grid).

  • Show or hide columns in the table or reset page preferences, using the vertical ellipsis menu.

  • Filter the data displayed in the table—Click the filter icon (funnel) and select whether you want to show or hide advanced filters. You can then add or remove filter criteria, save criteria as a filter, apply or clear filters, and so on. The filtered results are displayed on the same page.
