About the Adjacencies Tab (Route Topology)
To access this tab, click Observability > Routing > Route Topology > Adjacencies.
Use this tab to view details of all IGP adjacencies on the route topology map. You can also view alerts, status of adjacencies, and highlight adjacencies on the route topology map.
Tasks You Can Perform
You can perform the following tasks from this tab:
-
View all IGP adjacencies in the Adjacencies table.
-
View details of IGP adjacencies. To view details:
-
Select the check box next to an adjacency and click More > Show Detail.
-
Hover over any row in the Adjacency table and click the Details icon.
A pop-up appears displaying the details of the adjacencies.
-
-
Highlight adjacencies on the route topology map by selecting one or more adjacencies.
-
Sort, resize, or re-arrange columns in a table (grid).
-
Show or hide columns in the table or reset page preferences, using the vertical ellipsis menu.
-
Search by using keywords—Click the search icon (magnifying glass), enter the search term in the text box, and press Enter. The search results are displayed on the same page.
-
Filter the data displayed in the table—Click the filter icon (funnel) and select whether you want to show or hide advanced filters. You can then add or remove filter criteria, save criteria as a filter, apply or clear filters, and so on. The filtered results are displayed on the same page.
Field Descriptions
Table 1 lists the fields on the Adjacencies Tab (Route Topology).
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
|
Device A |
The ingress end of an adjacency. |
|
Device Z |
The egress end of an adjacency. |
|
Alerts |
The alerts generated between Device A and Device Z. The alerts generated are:
|
|
Anomalies |
The total number of anomalies detected in the network for a device. You can hover over an anomaly-number to view information such as severity level, description, and timestamp of each anomaly. |
|
Flaps |
The total number of IGP session link flapping issues from the device. |
|
Interface A |
The interface name of device A. |
|
Interface Z |
The interface name of device Z. |
|
Status |
The operational status of the adjacency (link between Device A and Device Z). The statuses are:
|
|
IP A |
The IPv4/IPv6 address of the interface from which Device A sends traffic. Routing Director displays the IP address of IP A based on Device A's active configuration. If the IP addresses of IP A and IP Z are in the same subnet, Routing Director forms an interface between devices A and Z. |
|
IP Z |
The IPv4/IPv6 address of the interface from where Device Z receives traffic. Routing Director displays the IP address of IP Z based on Device Z's active configuration. If the IP addresses of IP A and IP Z are in the same subnet, Routing Director forms an interface between devices A and Z. |
