View Network Resources

Network resources are device parameters that identify the device in a network. For example, IP addresses, autonomous system number, BGP cluster ID, and segment identifiers (SID). For a device, you can configure Routing Director to automatically assign the values for the network resources during onboarding. For Routing Director to assign values for the resources automatically, you must upload values for the network resources to Routing Director. See Add Network Resource Pools.

Routing Director enables you to view the network resources that are available for assignment and that are used up.

To view network resources:

  1. Log in to Routing Director.
The Select an organization page appears.
  2. Click the organization in which you want to view the network resources.
    The Troubleshoot Devices page appears.
  3. Navigate to Orchestration > Service > Resource Instances.
    The Resource Instances page appears.
  4. Click More > View Network Resources.

The Network Resources page appears. On this page, you can view:

    • Resource pools defined for the different resources

    • Number of values used up in each resource pool

    • Number of values that are available for use in each resource pool
