About the Routing Updates Tab

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this tab:

• In the graph above the Routing Updates table, you can view a graphical representation of:

  • All route add and delete events across all monitored devices that have occurred within the last 12 hours are displayed by default.

    You can also view this information for a predefined (2h, 4h, 6h, 8h, 10h, 12h) or a custom time period.

  • To view a filtered record of route add and delete events (of various devices) that match the prefix that you selected on Routing Status > Prefixes tab.

  • To view a filtered record of route add and delete events of a specific device that you selected on Routing Status > Devices tab.

• On the routing updates table, you can:

  • View a historical record of all routes added to and deleted from the loc-RIB.

    You can view this information only for those devices where RIB monitoring is enabled

  • Sort, resize, or re-arrange columns in a table (grid).

  • Show or hide columns in the table or reset page preferences, using the vertical ellipsis menu.

  • Filter the data displayed in the table—Click the filter icon (funnel) and select whether you want to show or hide advanced filters. You can then add or remove filter criteria, save criteria as a filter, apply or clear filters, and so on. The filtered results are displayed on the same page.

    You can filter by reported time, prefix address, prefix length, route distinguisher and hostname data.
