New Features

This section describes the new features released in Juniper Mist Routing Assurance.

View and Manage Support Requests

The Support Tickets feature enhances your overall support experience by providing seamless access to Juniper support services, whenever you need them. You can now easily report issues, get assistance, and track the status of the issues directly from within the application. To access the Support Tickets Page, navigate to the Help menu (?) on the top-right corner of the banner and click Support Tickets.

View Summary Reports for Your Juniper Networks Assets

JSI provides a set of reports that summarize support insights at the organizational level, in addition to offering support insights on a per-device basis within your organization. The reports provide data-driven, actionable insights into the overall operational health of the devices in the network.

You can use the reports to:

  • View network assets

  • Track operational status of the assets

  • Manage support contracts

  • Streamline hardware and software lifecycle management

  • Identify and access security vulnerabilities and potential issues that may impact the assets

These reports can assist you to make informed decisions and plan support activities to proactively address potential issues in the network, thereby minimizing operational impact.

To access the summary reports, navigate to Organization > Support Insights or Organization > Inventory > Installed Base > Support Insights.

Authorized Access to Customer-centric Information

Juniper Mist Routing Assurance validates users before providing access to customer-centric information about your devices. The user credentials are validated through the Juniper Support Portal to prevent unauthorized access to device information. Once validated, the user is granted access to customer-centric information that the user is entitled to access.

To validate your user account, navigate to Organization > Inventory > Installed Base or Organization > Support Insights > Assets & Contracts. Click Validate Email ID and enter your account credentials. If Juniper Mist Routing Assurance finds your credentials to be invalid or not registered, you are prompted to enter the correct credentials or register your credentials with Juniper through the Juniper Support Portal.
