Juniper Data Center Assurance Licensing and Subscriptions
You must have a valid subscription with the appropriate license tier to use features in Juniper Data Center Assurance. This topic describes the available license tiers and the features included in each tier.
Licenses for Juniper Data Center Assurance are derived from Apstra Data Center Director subscriptions. The license tier (Standard, Advanced, or Premium) assigned in Apstra determines the features available in Data Center Assurance.
Apstra licenses follow a subscription-based model, where each subscription defines:
- The license tier (Standard, Advanced, or Premium)
- The subscription duration (1, 3, 5, or 7 years)
- The number of licenses purchased
Feature access in Data Center Assurance is provided through entitlements, which are derived from your active subscriptions.
For more information about Apstra Data Center Director licenses, see Software Licenses for Apstra Data Center Director.
To view your subscriptions and access associated entitlement (licensed features) in Juniper Data Center Assurance, you must link your Juniper Networks account in the Juniper Account Integration tile on the Organization Settings (Organization > Settings) page. For more information about linking your Juniper Networks account, see Integrate Your Juniper Support Resources to Your Organization.
After linking your account, administrators can view subscriptions associated with their Apstra Data Center Director on the Subscriptions page (Organization > Subscriptions).
The Subscription page displays subscription type, entitlement quantity, subscription status, and validity period.
If you attempt to access a feature that is not included in your license tier, Juniper Data Center Assurance displays a warning message indicating that a valid subscription is required. To obtain access, contact your designated HPE Networking representative.

After the trial period ends, a valid subscription is required to continue using premium features.
