Step 3 Install and Register Apstra Edge in Apstra Data Center Director

Before you can receive data in Data Center Assurance, Apstra Edge must be installed and registered with your Apstra Data Center Director instance. This topic describes how to install Apstra Edge from Apstra Data Center Director UI and enter the registration code.

  1. Log into Apstra Data Center Director.
  2. Navigate to Platform > Apstra Edge.
  3. Click the + button in the top right to launch a new Apstra Edge container.
  4. Fill in the following details:
    • Registration Key: Paste the registration key you copied in Step 2b Retrieve Edge Registration Code from Data Center Assurance.
    • Cloud Term: Enter ep-term.ai.juniper.net. This is the Data Center Assurance cloud termination endpoint.
  5. Leave all other fields at their default values and click Create.

    After the Apstra Edge is configured, the status should show as Running. You can confirm this on the Platform > Apstra Edge page.
