Apstra DCD Agent Network Security

Apstra DCD communicates with the management interfaces of devices via the IP address of the dedicated management port. Customers typically connect the management ports to an out-of-band (OOB) network that is restricted to network engineers, NOC management systems, and an emergency “break glass” IP subnet via ACLs or firewalls.

Note:

It is not currently possible to manage devices via the fabric ports.
