Set Deploy Mode (Freeform)
When you set the deploy mode on a system, it appears in its Device
Context. But if you haven’t added deploy_mode
(as a
Jinja variable) to the config template that’s assigned to that system, it has no
effect on the rendered configuration.
You can set the deploy mode for one system at a time, or for multiple systems at the same time in one dialog.
Set Deploy Mode on One System
In Apstra version 4.1.2, internal systems with deploy mode set to Deploy
require an assigned config template. In versions 4.1.0 and 4.1.1, ALL internal
systems require an assigned config template regardless of deploy mode. Make sure
the config template assigned to the device includes deploy_mode
or your changes will have no effect on configuration.
Set Deploy Modes on Multiple Systems

require an assigned config template. In versions 4.1.0 and 4.1.1, ALL internal
systems require an assigned config template regardless of deploy mode. Make sure
