Install Apstra Server on VMware ESXi

  1. Log into vCenter.

  2. Right-click your target deployment environment, and click Deploy OVF Template.

  3. Click Choose Files and locate the OVF file that you downloaded.

  4. Specify Unique Name and Target Location for the VM.

  5. We recommend Thick Provisioning for the Apstra server.

  6. Map the AOS Management network to enable it to reach the virtual networks that the Apstra server will manage on ESXi.

  7. Verify that all details are correct, then click Finish. When the VM is up and running you are ready to configure the Apstra server.
