Security Status Information: Default Open Ports/Services on the SSR400 routers

In the factory default state, the following services are enabled on the corresponding network interfaces of the SSR400 routers:

  • Ports 0—2: WAN interfaces. You use these interfaces to run a DHCP client for IP address allocation. No other services are bound to these interfaces.

  • Ports 3—9: Bootstrap interfaces. These ports run Port 22 SSH and Port 443 HTTPS using the static IP address 192.168.128.1.

  • HA port: Located on the rear of the chassis and not defined as a public interface. This port defaults to no IP address.
