LTE Support on SSR120 Appliances

Overview

The SSR120 portfolio consists of models with or without LTE support. The LTE support is provided through the in-built LTE module that operates on both 3G and 4G networks. The SSR120 supports only a single SIM card.Table 1 provides a summary of the models that support LTE.

Antennas

The LTE module supports two multi-band swivel-mount dipole antennas, which can be rotated 90°. You can rotate the antennas and select the angle at which the signal strength is high. Table 2 lists the specifications for the antenna.

Firmware Upgrade Support

The LTE module supports over-the-air (OTA) firmware upgrade, which enables automatic and timely upgrade of modem firmware when new firmware versions are available.
