Leakage Maintenance for the QFX5250 Switch

Perform the following steps if there is a leakage in your liquid-cooled QFX5250 switch.

  • Ensure that the switch is powered off.
  • Have dry air or nitrogen supply ready.
  • Follow all the applicable safety guidelines when handling coolant and pressurized gases.

This procedure describes the steps to drain, purge, and refill the liquid-cooled QFX5250 switch with nitrogen prior to RMA procedure.

  1. Flush the switch thoroughly to remove any residual coolant.
  2. Purge the switch using dry air or nitrogen to remove any remaining moisture or coolant residue. Ensure that the switch is completely dry before proceeding.
  3. Refill the switch with nitrogen (N₂).
