Cooling System
The cooling system in PTX10002-60MR consists the following configuration.
-
AFO (front to back) cooling
For AFO operation, three fan modules each with 2 fans are plugged into Forwarding Control Board from the rear side of the chassis to suck air out of the system. Vents are provided in the faceplate to allow air inlet.
Power System
The power supplies are fully redundant, load-sharing, and hot-removable and hot-insertable FRUs. You can install the power supplies in the power supply slots on the rear of the device. Each router operates with a minimum of one AC/DC power supply to a maximum of two AC/DC power supplies. Each power supply has its own fan and is cooled by its own internal cooling system. Hot air exhausts from the rear of the chassis.
The PTX10002-60MR has PSUs for different combinations.
