ACX7020 Power System

The ACX7020 power system includes AC and DC power supply modules (PSMs) and related cords, cables, and cable lugs. The PSMs operate within specified ranges and are equipped with alarms and indicators.

The ACX7020 router is powered by 220-W fixed AC or DC PSMs. The ACX7020 AC model consists of two AC PSMs that support dual input feeds. The ACX7020 DC model consists of a single DC PSM that supports a dual input feed. With the dual input feed support, if one input feed fails, the second input feed balances the electrical load without interruption.

ACX7020 AC Power Supply Module Description

The AC-powered ACX7020 router is equipped with two fixed 220-W PSMs that support dual input feeds.

Note: For AC-powered routers, to prevent system restarts during a 100% voltage dip, a dual feed configuration is recommended. The voltage dip test of IEEE1613 complies in a dual feed configuration for AC-powered routers.
Note: This device is designed to support overvoltage category II (OVC II). If the equipment is subjected to transient voltages greater than OVC II, it will need additional external protection. Ensure that the component you use for this external protection complies with IEC 61643/UL 1449 based on the local code.

AC Power Cord Specifications for ACX7020 Routers

The coupler for the AC power cord is type C15 as described by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard 60320. The plug end of the power cord fits into the power source outlet that is standard for your geographical location.

Note:

In North America, AC power cords must not exceed 4.5 m in length to comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) Sections 400-8 (NFPA 75, 5-2.2) and 210-52 and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) Section 4-010(3). The ACX Series power cords comply with the standards.
