Configuring Virtual Interfaces

The virtual interface configuration determines the NAT pool for calls to use.

To configure a virtual interface:

  1. Create a virtual interface, and assign the number 0 to the interface.
    [edit services pgcp]user@host# edit virtual-interface 0
  2. Specify the name of the NAT pool to be used for gates on the virtual interface that you are configuring.
    [edit services pgcp virtual-interface 0]user@host# set nat-pool nat-pool-one
  3. Set the virtual interface to in-service.
    [edit services pgcp virtual-interface 0]user@host# set service-state in-service
