area area-id interface interface-name] Release Information
Statement introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.
Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Support for the realm statement introduced in JUNOS
Release 9.2.
Support for the realm statement introduced in JUNOS
Release 9.2 for EX Series switches.
Description
Specify how long the routing device waits to receive
a link-state acknowledgment packet before retransmitting link-state
advertisements to an interface’s neighbors.
Options
seconds—Interval
to wait.
- Range: 1 through 65,535 seconds
- Default: 5 seconds
 | Note:
You must configure link-state advertisement (LSA) retransmit
intervals to be equal to or greater than 3 seconds to avoid triggering
a retransmit trap, because the JUNOS Software delays LSA acknowledgments
by up to 2 seconds. |
Required Privilege Level
routing—To view this statement in the
configuration.
