When configuring DLSw Ethernet redundancy on Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, configure a DLSw router’s priority for becoming the master default router. The router with the highest priority within the group becomes the master.


priority—Router’s priority for being elected to be the master router in the VRRP group. A larger value indicates a higher priority for being elected.

Range: 1 through 255
Default: 100 (for backup routers)
