Statement introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Description

Set the router ID in the BGP aggregator path attribute to zero. (This is one of the path attributes included in BGP update messages.) Doing this prevents different routing devices within an AS from creating aggregate routes that contain different AS paths.

Default

If you omit this statement, the router ID is included in the BGP aggregator path attribute.
