Media Flow Controller Overview : Management Interfaces : Command Line Interface (CLI)

Command Line Interface (CLI)
You can log in to the Media Flow Controller server via the command line interface (CLI) by invoking a SSH session. The CLI allows all aspects of system configuration and management. This interface is typically used during initial installing and commissioning (i.e. configuring network ports, routes, and system hostname), and problem debugging/troubleshooting.
Media Flow Controller allows you to develop scripts for configuring and managing the system remotely. You can automate recurring and/or repetitive configuration and management operations such as provisioning a new customer namespace, adding caching and delivery policies, defining virtual players, defining logging policies and collecting statistics. You can develop scripts using popular scripting languages such as PERL, TCL/Expect or Python.
