Configuring DS1, DS3, Ethernet, and Serial Interfaces
The Configure page allows you to configure most network interfaces on a routing platform, as shown in Figure 1.

To configure a network interface:
- In the J-Web user interface, select Configure
> Interfaces, as shown in Figure 1.
Note: After you make changes to the configuration in this window, you must commit the changes immediately for them to take effect. To commit all changes to the active configuration, select Commit Options > Commit. See Using the Commit Options to Commit Configuration Changes (J-Web Procedure) for details about all commit options.
A list of the network interfaces present on the routing platform is displayed, as shown in Figure 1. The third column indicates whether the interface has been configured.
Note: Channelized T1 and E1 interfaces are not displayed in the list of interfaces on the J-Web Configure Interfaces page. However, you can configure and view channelized T1/E1/ISDN PRI interfaces with the J-Web configuration editor.
