Downloading Files

You can use the J-Web interface to download a copy of an individual file from the services router. When you download a file, it is not deleted from the file system.

Figure 50 shows the J-Web page from which you can download log files.

To download files with the J-Web interface:

  1. In the J-Web interface, select Maintain > Files as shown in the Figure 51.

    Note: After you make changes to the configuration in this window, you must commit the changes immediately for them to take effect. To commit all changes to the active configuration, select Commit Options > Commit. See Using the Commit Options to Commit Configuration Changes (J-Web Procedure) for details about all commit options.

  2. In the Download and Delete Files section, click one of the following file types:
  3. To download an individual file, click Download.
  4. Choose a location for the browser to save the file.

    The file is downloaded.
