Configuring Destination NAT—Quick Configuration

You can use J-Web Quick Configuration to quickly configure destination NAT.

To configure destination NAT with Quick Configuration:

  1. Select Configure > NAT > Destination NAT.
  2. Fill in the options as shown in Table 145.
  3. Click one of the following buttons:

Destination Address Pool

Defines one or more destination NAT pools.

Click Add.

Destination Rule Sets

Defines one or more rule sets.

Click Add.

Destination NAT Pool

Name

Descriptive name for the pool.

Type a name for the pool.

Routing Instance

Specifies the routing instance in which to perform route lookup for the address in the pool. By default, the routing instance is inet.0.

Enter the routing instance name..

IP Address Range

Specifies an address range.

Enter the IP addresses.

IP Address

Specifies a single IP address.

Enter an IP address.

Port

Specifies the optional port number

Enter a port number.

Destination NAT Rule Set

Name

Name of the rule set.

Type a name for the rule set.

From

Specifies from where the packet is coming. If a packet matches more than one rule set, the rule set with the more specific match is used. An interface match is considered more specific than a zone match, which is more specific than a routing instance match.

Routing Instance—Specify the source routting instance.

Interface—Specify the source interface.

Zone—Specify the source zone.

Rules

Set of conditions that are evaluated, in order, for a match to perform the specified destination NAT action.

 

Rule name

Name of the destination NAT rule.

Type a name for the rule.

Source address

Specifies the source address to match. You can configure multiple addresses or subnets.

Enter one or more addresses or subnets.

Destination address

Specifies the destination address to match. You can configure multiple addresses or subnets.

Enter one or more addresses or subnets.

Destination port

Specifies the destination port to match.

Enter a single port number.

Then

Specifies the action of the destination NAT rule.

Destination nat off—No destination NAT is performed.

Destination NAT pool—Use the specified pool to perform destination NAT.
