Using Quick Configuration

To access Quick Configuration, select Configuration>Quick Configuration. You select a Quick Configuration task by clicking it in the side pane, or selecting it in the main pane. Quick Configuration pages provide access to the most commonly configured parameters for most supported features.

Depending on the complexity of the feature you want to configure, use the Quick Configuration tasks as follows:

For simple features—Quick Configuration allows you to perform basic configurations easily. It simplifies configuration by combining a few actions in one, so that you are not required to configure each statement individually.
For complex features—Quick Configuration allows you to view existing configurations at a glance and edit and manage them easily. Because it provides a complete view of configurations on a single page, Quick Configuration is a very useful tool for planning and managing complex features.

Table 164 describes the functions of the buttons that appear on J-Web Quick Configuration pages.

Button	Function
Add	Adds statements or identifiers to the configuration.
Delete	Deletes statements or identifiers from the configuration.
OK	Commits your entries into the configuration, and returns you to the previous J-Web page.
Cancel	Clears the entries you have not yet applied to the configuration, and returns you to the previous J-Web page.
Apply	Commits your entries into the configuration, and stays on the same J-Web page.
