Configuring Application Layer Gateways

The Application Layer Gateway (ALG) module is responsible for application-layer aware packet processing. ALG functionality can be triggered either by a service or application configured in the policy. JUNOS Enhanced Services provides ALGs that support most of the standard network and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) protocols.
