Boot DHCP Relay Configuration Page Options

  1. Select Configure>Services>DHCP>Boot DHCP Relay in the J-Web user interface.

    The Boot DHCP Relay configuration page appears.

  2. Click one:
    • Add—Adds a new boot DHCP Relay configuration. Enter information as specified in Table 186.
  3. Click one:
    • OK—Saves the configuration and returns to the main configuration page.
    • Commit Options>Commit—Commits the configuration and returns to the main configuration page.
    • Cancel—Cancels your entries and returns to the main configuration page.

Boot/DHCP Relay Information

DHCP Relay Agent

Specifies wheather the DHCP relay agent is enabled to relay BOOTP or DHCP messages to a BOOTP server.

Select the check box.

Client Response TTL

Specifies the IP time-to-live value, in seconds, to set in responses to clients.

Enter a value from 1 through 225.

Maximum Hop Count

Specifies the maximum number of hops allowed per packet.

Enter a value from 4 through 16.

Minimum Waiting Time

Specifies the minimum number of seconds before requests are forwarded to the BOOTP server.

Enter a value from 0 through 30,000.

Description of Servers

Provides a description for the BOOTP server.

Enter a description for the BOOTP server in the text box.

Servers/Routing Instance

Provides a list of IP addresses of the servers and routing instances, in order of preference from top to bottom. The options available are:

  • Add—Adds servers/routing instance.
  • Delete—Deletes servers/routing instance.

Select an option.

Interfaces

Specifies the list of the incoming BOOTP or DHCP request forwarding interfaces, in order of preference from top to bottom. The options available are:

  • Add—Adds a BOOTP or DHCP request forwarding interface.
  • Delete—Deletes a BOOTP or DHCP request forwarding interfaces.

Select an option.
