GVRP Configuration Page Options

  1. Select Configure>Switching>GVRP.

    The GVRP configuration page appears. Table 125 explains the contents of this page.

  2. Click one:
    • Global Settings—Defines general specifications for GVRP timers. Enter information as specified in Table 126.
    • Add—Adds a new or duplicate GVRP configuration. Enter information as specified in Table 127.
    • Enable Port—Enables a selected GVRP configuration.
    • Disable Port—Disables a selected GVRP configuration.
    • Delete—Deletes the selected GVRP configuration.
  3. Click one:
    • OK—Saves the configuration and returns to the main configuration page.
    • Commit Options>Commit—Commits the configuration and returns to the main configuration page.
    • Cancel—Cancels your entries and returns to the main configuration page.

Disable GVRP

Specifies whether to disable GVRP on all the interfaces.

Select this option to disable GVRP.

Join Timer

Specifies the number of milliseconds that an interface must wait before sending VLAN advertisements.

Enter a value from 0 through 4294967295 milliseconds.

Leave Timer

Specifies the number of milliseconds that an interface must wait after receiving a Leave message to remove itself from the VLAN specified in the message.

Enter a value from 0 through 4294967295 milliseconds.

Leave All Timer

Specifies the interval, in milliseconds, at which Leave All messages are sent on interfaces. Leave All messages help to maintain current GVRP VLAN membership information in the network.

Enter a value from 0 through 4294967295 milliseconds.

Interface under GVRP

Displays the ports that are configured under GVRP.

Select an interface and click the Right Arrow button to move the interface out of GVRP.

Displays the ports that are configured outside of GVRP.
