Configuring Addresses
To configure an address in the J-Web user interface:
- Select Configure>Security>Policy
Elements>Address Book.
- Select the Addresses tab.
- Select one of the following options:
- Add–To create a new address,
click Add. The Add Address dialog box appears.
- Edit–To edit an existing configuration,
select the address that you want to change and click Edit. The Edit Address dialog box appears.
- Delete–To delete an existing
address, select it and click Delete. (If you
select this option, you can skip the remaining steps in this section.)
- In the Zone field, specify the zone
to which the address should apply.
- In the Address Name field, specify
a name for the address.
- Select the IP/Prefix or Domain Name option. Then, enter the IP address or domain name
of the address in the field that appears. The IP address must be an
IPv4 address with the number of prefix bits. You can use domain names
only if the system is configured to use DNS services.
- (Optional) Specify an address set to which the address
should be added. To create a new address set:
- In the Add Address Set text box,
enter an address set.
- Click Add. (To remove the address
after creating it, click Undo.)
- Select one of the following options:
- OK–To apply the configuration
and return to the main Configuration page, click OK.
- Cancel–To cancel your entries
and return to the main page, click Cancel.
