The PIMs in J2300 Services Routers are fixed and not interchangeable, with different chassis types providing different PIMs. The PIMs provide the physical connection to various network media types. J2300 Services Routers are available with different types of chassis. Each chassis type contains two Fast Ethernet LAN ports, one set of WAN ports, and additional fixed PIMs of different types.
