Chassis Console Port Pinouts
The console port on a J-series Services Router chassis has an
RJ-45 connector. Table 85 provides
RJ-45 chassis console connector pinout information. An RJ-45 cable
is supplied with the router.
To connect the console port to an external management device,
you need an RJ-45 to DB-9 serial port adapter, which is also supplied
with the router.
