4-Port ISDN BRI PIMs

The 4-port ISDN BRI PIMs have four physical ports that support the ISDN BRI S/T (Figure 36) or ISDN BRI U (Figure 37) interface type.

ISDN BRI PIMs provide the following key features:

ISDN LEDs indicate PIM and port status. Table 31 describes the meaning of the LED states.

  • BRI interface port is not connected.
  • ISDN Layer 1 is unavailable.

Unlit

Off

BRI interface is offline.

STATUS

Green

On steadily

PIM is online and operational.

Red

Disconnected

PIM is not operational and needs replacement.

Unlit

Off

PIM is offline.
