Renaming an Identifier

There are two ways to rename an identifier that already exists in a configuration:

In the example provided in Copying a Statement, to rename the IP address of unit 1 from 10.14.1.1/24 to 10.14.2.1/24, enter the rename command as follows:

user@host# rename interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 1 family inet address 10.14.1.1/24 to address 10.14.2.1/24
