Console Port Pinouts for TGM550

The console port on a TGM550 has an RJ-45 connector. Table 104 provides RJ-45 console connector pinout information. An RJ-45 cable is supplied with the TGM550.

You cannot use the RJ-45 cable supplied with the Services Router for the router console port to connect to the console port on the TGM550.

To connect the console port to an external management device, you need an RJ-45 to DB-9 serial port adapter which is also supplied with the TGM550.
