Before You Begin

Before you begin configuring an IPSec tunnel, you must have completed these tasks:

• Establish basic connectivity. See the J-series Services Router Getting Started Guide.
• Configure network interfaces. See Configuring Network Interfaces.
• Configure one or more routing protocols. See Configuring Static Routes, Configuring a RIP Network, Configuring an OSPF Network, or Configuring BGP Sessions.
