Determine where to install the Services Router, and verify
that the rack or installation site meets the requirements described in Preparing for Router
Installation.
For installation, gather the equipment and tools listed in Table 29.

To connect the router to power and ground, have ready a 14 AWG
grounding cable and lug, as specified in Chassis Grounding,
and the power cord or cords shipped with the router.
The power cord for the Services Router is intended for use with the router
only and not for any other use.
