Description
Use the hostname of the switching device as the remote-id suboption
of DHCP option 82 (also known as the DHCP relay agent information option) in DHCP request
packet headers before forwarding or relaying requests to a DHCP server. This suboption provides
a trusted identifier for the host system that has forwarded or relayed requests to the server.
