Tools and Parts Required
To replace an FPC, you need the following tools and parts:
- Phillips (+) screwdrivers, numbers 1 and 2
- Electrostatic bag or antistatic mat, one for each FPC removed
from the chassis and PIC removed from an FPC
- Electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding wrist strap
- Replacement component or blank panel for each component removed
- Rubber safety cap for each port on each fiber-optic PIC removed
