Shutting Down the System and Removing the AC Power Supplies

Before you can install the optional DC power supply, you must first shut down the system and remove all AC power supplies by performing the following tasks:

1. Gracefully shut down the SRC software by entering the following command:
   user@host> request system halt

   This command stops all system components, halts the operating system, and powers down the C Series Controller.

2. Press the power button on the front of the system.
3. Remove all AC power supplies from the chassis by following the procedure described in Removing and Installing an AC Power Supply Module.
